Billy peeped under the cover, not heeding the little girls’ protest. “Golly, May Nell! The Queen of Sheba won’t be in it ’long side of you.” “An’ where did you hear it, my dear?” she queried, cautiously feeling her way. Her questions brought long and wonderful tales of Billy’s younger life; of Edith when she, too, was a little girl.
